A Major Milestone "We have received candidate status with the Association of Theological Schools . This is, in essence, provisional accreditation. It is the major hurdle in the process of final accreditation, which we are now on track to attain in two years. Candidate status means that our school has official academic recognition, that our credits and degrees should be readily accepted by other schools, and that our students will be able to qualify for federal loans and for deferred payment of undergraduate loans."
-UGST President, David K. Bernard
This is a major milestone in our history. Indeed, it is a first for the Apostolic movement. There are countless numbers of people who have supported UGST in this vision for an academic training ground for Oneness Apostolic ministers. We are so grateful for each and every one. No one person could have achieved this goal by him or her self.
Most importantly, all praise, glory and honor must be given to God who has guided and inspired these people through the working of His spirit and in the grace and mercy each has experienced on this journey. The psalmist expressed this joy best in Psalm 145 saying:Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised!
