Chris Paris is a Ph.D. graduate in Hebrew Bible from Vanderbilt University, as well as an Assistant Adjunct professor at Urshan Graduate School of Theology. He has earned a B.A. in English literature and Religious Studies and an M.A. in Humanities with a focus on Religion from Western Kentucky University. His M.T.S. was earned from Vanderbilt Divinity School. He recently completed a certificate in Jewish Studies. His research interests include the Deuteronomistic History, Narrative Criticism and the lament genre in the Hebrew Bible and ancient Near East. He is a minister at Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church where he leads Cohesion, a college and career group. He is married with one child.
